Caseificio Tomasoni triumphs at Caseus Italia: Casatella Trevigiana PDO wins first prize
Villa Contarini, Piazzola sul Brenta – A weekend full of excitement and great satisfaction for Caseificio Tomasoni, protagonist of the 2025 edition of Caseus Italia, the event dedicated to Italian dairy excellence.
The dairy's Casatella Trevigiana PDO won first place in its category, also receiving the prestigious award for Best Fresh Cheese – Aurea Jury.
But that's not all: other Tomasoni products distinguished themselves in various categories, bringing home further important placements:
- 2nd place Tomigiu in the Semi-hard Cheeses (3-6 months) category
- 2nd place for goat's milk Stracchino in the Fresh and Very Fresh Cheese category
- 3rd place for buffalo milk Latteria in the Soft Cheese with Rind category (30 days - 2 months)
